What we arrange

The offer, plainly priced.

Overnight placement

$2,500 booking + 20% of prepaid night blocks. A specialist takes the night — feeds, soothing, safe sleep — so you heal and rest. The hero offer.

Day nanny placement

$5,000 flat, with a 90-day replacement guarantee. Long-term nannies vetted to the same standard, matched to your family's rhythm.

Travel care

$3,500 booking + 25% share; the family covers travel. A specialist who flies with you — the arrangement our founder's own clients invented.

Contract package

$950 — a proper employment agreement, fair pay structure, and negotiation help, so the relationship starts right.

Backup membership

$149/mo priority access for alumni families — when the regular arrangement hiccups, we answer first.

ARRIVING — PHASE 2

What we don't do

No housekeepers, estate staff, elder care, or one-night babysitting. We staff the nursery, not the household — and refer you to someone excellent for the rest.

"If it doesn't protect a family's sleep or their newborn's care, we refer it."

Published, because it should be

The Lamplight Standard — nine steps, no exceptions.

Competitors say "vetted." We show the work. Every caregiver on our bench has completed all nine — there are no fast tracks, including for people we've known for years.

The readiness ladder — nobody skips a rung.

Each step is earned inside our own placements. Families receive only caregivers proven at the level they're matched at — the ladder is why the promise holds.

Our promise, in writing

Seven days to your specialist.

Tell us what your family needs, and vetted candidates are presented within seven days — or the booking fee is refunded in full. Every placement also carries a replacement guarantee: if the match isn't right, we re-make it promptly, on our time, not yours.

Our founder

Ten years in the rooms.

Before Lamplight was an agency, its standard was a person: a newborn care specialist trusted for a decade by executive households — families who asked her back for every baby, and asked her to travel the world with them. She has held more midnight feedings than she can count, and she knows in one conversation who belongs in your home.

Now she chooses every caregiver on our bench personally. That is the entire business model.

Out of respect for the families we've served, you will never see their names here. References happen in conversation, family to family.

How it works

Three steps between you and a full night's sleep.

1

The conversation

A short call about your family, your schedule, and what rest would look like. Two minutes to start, no chatbot — a human replies within hours.

2

The shortlist

Within seven days: two candidates chosen for your home, each with a full matching brief — experience, verified certifications, what their references actually said, and our founder's note on why this match.

3

The first night

Contract signed, first block scheduled, the lamp goes on. We stay close, check in every engagement, and handle everything around the care.

Free, and genuinely useful

The nights, explained by someone who's worked a thousand of them.

Safe-sleep non-negotiables, the night-station setup, what weeks one through twelve actually feel like, how couples split the night without splitting up, and exactly when to call the pediatrician. No email wall for the essentials — it's the guide we wish every family were handed in week one.

Questions, answered plainly

What families ask us.

Who employs the caregiver?

You do — as most families prefer. We handle the search, vetting, matching, and contract; your caregiver works directly for your family, and we connect you with a household-payroll service so taxes are effortless and correct. No gray areas, ever.

What does overnight care actually cost?

The booking fee is $2,500. Care itself is prepaid in ten-night blocks at your caregiver's rate — typically $45–70 per hour in our markets — with our 20% share stated inside the block price, never hidden. Most families run three to five nights a week for the first twelve to sixteen weeks; unused nights are refundable. Exact numbers get mapped to your plan on the first call.

Are you a marketplace or an app?

No. There is no browsing, no algorithm, no gig pool. A founder who has done this work for a decade selects candidates for your family specifically. Technology runs quietly behind the scenes so responses are fast — every decision that matters is human.

What if the match isn't right?

Tell us early and plainly. Every placement carries a replacement guarantee — we re-match promptly, and the relationship resets on our time, not yours.

Twins, preemies, a baby already here?

We match by specialty — multiples and medically-complex newborns are matched only with caregivers whose references prove that exact experience. And if your nights are already hard, say so: we've matched in under seventy-two hours.

How do you protect our privacy?

Confidentiality agreements run in both directions on every engagement, our team never names clients, and nothing about your family appears in our marketing — ever. It's why families like yours refer us to each other.

Where do you serve?

We're founded in [CITY] and place caregivers in surrounding communities, with travel-care arrangements available nationwide. Elsewhere? Write to us — the bench is growing city by city.
